I’m so excited and proud to be a part of Kitchener’s newest artist-run gallery, The Art District Gallery:
The Art District Gallery is a grass-roots, artist-run gallery featuring the work of 18 artists from Waterloo region. This includes painters, sculptors, jewelers, potters and textile artists. We exhibit art that is fun, vibrant, colourful, unexpected, and contemporary.
Our vision is two-fold. First, our goal is to help emerging artists from Waterloo region exhibit and sell their work. Also, we want to help transform the city centre into a more vibrant, fun and entertaining place where the community can go to immerse themselves in art.
The 3 pieces above are on display this month, and part a wonderful show. You can visit them anytime during gallery hours:
Tuesday to Friday, 2:00 to 8:00 pm
Saturdays 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
The Gallery is located in Downtown Kitchener at Kitchener’s Farmer’s Market, on King at Cedar:
